Terms and conditions of sales for our Eco lodges at the Treuscoat Estate

1. Your stay
a. Equipment supplied:
The beds will be made before you arrive. Cabins on stilts accommodation are equipped with bathroom linens.
b. Equipment to bring:
You must bring a charged mobile phone. Bring flat, flexible, enclosed shoes (particularly for the Parcabout®) and/or for walking in the forest. Bring slippers for indoors and towels.
c. Arrivals:
Please arrive between 5.00 pm and 6.30 pm. If you will be arriving late or have a last-minute difficulty, please warn us 24 hours in advance so that we can organise your arrival. You will then be invoiced an additional 20€ for each awesome accommodation.
d. Safety:
During your stay, we would ask you to comply with all the safety instructions as explained to you.
e. Departure:
On the day you leave, your awesome accommodation must be liberated by 10.30 am.
You will be expected at reception between 9.00 and 10.30 am to return the keys of your awesome accommodation.
2. Regulations
For bookings made via online booking centres with secured payment, the amount of your stay will be debited from your bank card in its entirety when booking. For bookings made by telephone or e-mail via our booking service, the amount of your stay will be paid in its entirety by bank card, cheque or bank transfer at the time of booking. In the latter two cases, booking is blocked for 7 days. Receipt of payment during this period will confirm the booking.
Please be careful whatever your booking method: your booking option may be removed in the case of delayed payment of the stay, the period for options being fixed at 7 days.

4. Accommodation capacity
The number of people per accommodation type corresponds to the maximum capacity authorised given the available facilities. It must not be exceeded for security reasons.
5. Modification or cancellation of your stay
For any modification or cancellation, a written request, preferably by e-mail, will be systematically required. Your file number must be given in the e-mail subject line.
A. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY YOU BEFORE ARRIVAL
i. In the case of serious illness, accident or death of a registered guest, and on presentation of a medical or death certificate, we will reimburse the entirety of your payment. No compensation will be requested.
ii. In the case of serious illness, accident or death of a member of the family not staying in our accommodation, and on presentation of a medical or death certificate, the stay may be postponed free of charge during the 12 months following cancellation. No compensation will be requested.
iii. For any stay cancelled more than 30 days before the arrival date and not falling within the cancellation clauses mentioned above, we will retain the equivalent of 30% of the stay. Between 30 days and one week prior to the stay, 60% of the amount shall be retained. For any stay cancelled within 7 days before the arrival date, interrupted or not used for any reason whatsoever, the total amount of the booked stay will be payable or will remain acquired by the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat.
iv. You can modify your stay more than 15 days in advance, free of charge, according to availability, and only during the current calendar year. You may not modify your stay fewer than 15 days before.
B. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY SARL DOMAINE DU TREUSCOAT BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
i. In the case of an orange or more serious weather alert, with announced external events beyond our control, such as bad weather (storms or thunderstorms), the management reserves the right to cancel your stay for safety reasons. In this context, we would suggest postponing your stay to a later date within a period of 12 months from that date. If you are not happy with this suggestion, the sums paid will be reimbursed in their entirety. No further compensation can be claimed.
ii. If you have already left home, we would suggest rehousing you according to our availability at no further cost in other types of accommodation at the Domaine du Treuscoat. If we do not have a rehousing solution available to offer you, the entirety of the sums paid will be reimbursed. No further compensation can be claimed.
C. ON-THE-SPOT MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION OF YOUR STAY
In the case of refusal to access your awesome accommodation (fear, vertigo etc.), rehousing in other types of accommodation at the Domaine du Treuscoat will be offered to you, according to availability and at no extra charge, but no reimbursement will be made. No further compensation can be claimed.
No reimbursement will be made if you interrupt your stay, for whatever reason. No reimbursement will be made in the case of late arrival or early departure.
D. ON-THE-SPOT modification or cancellation by the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat
i. In the case of an orange or more serious weather alert, with announced external events beyond our control, such as bad weather (storms or thunderstorms), the management reserves the right to cancel your stay for safety reasons. Rehousing in other types of accommodation at the Domaine du Treuscoat will be offered to you, according to availability and at no extra charge, but no reimbursement will be made. No further compensation can be claimed. Solely if we do not have an available rehousing solution, the entirety of the sums paid will be reimbursed or you will be offered a postponement within a period of 12 months from that date.
E. Cancellation insurance and COVID-19
In order to offer our customers the best service, we have set up a cancellation insurance as an option at the time of booking on our website or by telephone. We would invite you to consult the specific cases covered by this insurance during the booking process. This insurance covers some cancellations for reasons related to COVID-19. It is your responsibility to take note of the cover offered, as well as the exclusions.
If cancellation insurance has not be taken out, you will not receive any reimbursement or modification of your stay by us for any reasons related to COVID-19.
6. Rates
The rates featured on our website or in our brochures are liable to change according to economic circumstances or regulatory provisions and should be understood to include all taxes. Only the price shown on your exchange voucher or other confirmation letter shall prevail. Please note: if there is any difference in rate between the planned date of the stay and the postponed date, for any reason whatsoever, you must pay the difference.
7.Gift vouchers
A. VALIDITY OF GIFT VOUCHERS:
Gift vouchers are valid for 5 years from their date of issue. They can be used for awesome accommodation any day we are open. A prior booking must have taken place, generally between 3 months and 6 months prior to the date of your stay, according to the time of year and the awesome accommodation chosen.
Beyond a period of one year, one single postponement of validity for a period of 6 months is possible on payment of an additional administrative fee of 30€ (all taxes included). The postponement request must be made before the initial validity end date. As a reminder, all sums paid for the purchase of an unused gift voucher will remain the property of the Domaine du Treuscoat. Gift vouchers are not reimbursable.
B. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY YOU BEFORE ARRIVAL

C. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY SARL DOMAINE DU TREUSCOAT BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL

D. ON-THE-SPOT MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION OF YOUR STAY BY YOU

E. ON-THE-SPOT MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY THE SARL DOMAINE DU TREUSCOAT

8. Children
The children’s age should be calculated according to their birth date and the starting date of the stay. An official document proving the children’s ages may be requested at the beginning of your stay. The presence of a responsible adult is compulsory in our awesome accommodation. The minimum age for access to our awesome Ben Nevis accommodation is 12 years.
9. Specific conditions
i. A booking made with a gift voucher or gift card can be made just one time, is non-reimbursable or modifiable under the conditions stipulated in Article 7.
ii. Access to our awesome Ben Nevis accommodation is unfortunately prohibited to women more than 5 months pregnant, to anyone suffering from vertigo or sleep-walking, in a state of inebriation or who has heart or sight problems.
iii. For pregnant women, a postponement of the date will be possible within the 6 months following the birth.
iv. The SARL Domaine du Treuscoat offers atypical accommodation, without water or electricity. The company cannot be held liable for an early departure owing to cold, damp or for any other reasons related to comfort. Customers should bring appropriate clothing, sleeping bags or duvets and an extra blanket, if necessary.
10. Animals
Pets are not admitted to our awesome accommodation.
11. Valuables
Please do not leave any valuables in your accommodation.
12. Réclamations
Any claim relating to a stay should be sent to the following address by registered letter with confirmation of receipt within 30 days following the stay: SARL Domaine du Treuscoat, Treuscoat, 29410 Pleyber Christ.
13. Reminders
To prepare your stay: you must bring a charged mobile phone. You must warn us if you will be arriving late or have a last-minute difficulty. You will then be invoiced an additional 20€ for each awesome accommodation per hour exceeded. During your stay, we would ask you to comply with all the safety instructions as explained to you by our staff. Your awesome accommodation is equipped with a composting toilet, with the exception of our “Sky” and “Iona” Nid’Île tree domes. Toilet blocks/showers are available for these accommodation units. On the day you leave, your awesome accommodation must be liberated by 10.30 am. You are requested to leave the property as clean as possible and to return any equipment supplied to reception. To allow us to improve our customer service, a guest book is available to you so that you can make any remarks and suggestions regarding your stay.
