Rules & Regulations at the Treuscoat Estate

Welcome to the Treuscoat Estate

To ensure everyone can enjoy the Treuscoat Estate safely and in order for you to have a pleasant stay, we ask you to read carefully the following regulation.
This regulation aims to define the smooth running rules of a french residential leisure park and of the equestrian activity at the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat. By going to the Treuscoat Estate, visitors formally acknowledge the rules of procedure and accept every clause. This Rules & Regulations is accessible to reading at the ticketing entrance of the Estate, at the eco-lodges reception, and is searchable on our website at www.domaine-treuscoat.fr and is available to customers on demand at the reception.

Section 1 - Access and admission requirement

1.a. The Treuscoat Estate is private property of which access is charged and submitted to time restrictions, as well for the visitors staying in an ecolodge located inside the Treuscoat Estate (called “staying visitors'' afterwards), as the visitors enjoying the leisure parc or coming as part of punctual events (called “daily visitors'' afterwards). Staying visitors access is submitted prior and compliant with reservation as well as the respect of the following rules of procedure. Daily visitors access is conditioned by the procurement of a “Domain entry” as well as the respect of the following rules of procedure.


1.b. The SARL Domaine du Treuscoat reserves the right to inspect visually or with the help of specific tools provided for in article L.613-2 of the French Homeland Security Code, clothes, coats and personal effects at the entrance of the Treuscoat Estate and within the estate for safety measures. In case of refusal from the visitors’ end, the staff reserves the right to forbid access to the Estate, or to exclude them without necessarily giving rights to a refund on the estate entrance fees.


1.c. It is forbidden to bring inside the Estate : illicit or dangerous substances, dangerous items (notably any type of weapon, no matter if they are for offense or self defense) and any toy looking like a firearm likely to put in danger visitors’ safety or that might frighten them; drones or any similar object that can film visitors’ private space ; objects that can disturb visitors’ tranquility (such as megaphone, honk, etc…). It is forbidden for daily visitors to bring alcohol or glass bottles.


1.d. The Treuscoat Estate reserves the right, to their discretion and at any time, to refuse access or to lead outside of the Estate, anyone wearing an outfit, makeup or tattoo that could hurt the sensitivity of the youngest or of a family audience, that the Estate would consider inappropriate and which could create altercations with other visitors. Likewise, it is not allowed to wander around in a swimsuit or shirtless outside of the wellness area and accommodations.


1.e. All visitors have to respect general instructions and need to keep an eye out in maintaining the premises and facilities clean. Estates’ staff is authorized to refuse access to the Estate for every legitimate reason, likely to provoke perturbations to its smooth running, and notably : for safety measures, or relative to hygienic standards ; upon request of the civil protection and/or of the Gendarmerie : to intoxicated person, or showing aggressive behavior, violence (verbally or physically) or racism ; to people whose behavior is likely to harm them, or other people safety ; after a theft, fraud, scams ; in case of violation of good morals, in case of malicious acts.


1.f. Every person staying inside the residential leisure park needs to show up with ID and have to fulfill required police formality. Pursuant to article R. 611-35 of the French code of entry and stay of foreigners and the right of asylum, the manager has to make the client of foreign nationality complete and sign, upon arrival, an individual police file. It needs to mention : first name, surname, date and place of birth, nationality and usual residence. Childrens under the age of 15 can appear on one of their parent forms. For daily visitors, access is not allowed to children under the age of 18 not accompanied by an adult. For staying visitors, access is allowed to children above the age of 16, provided that they have a written parental authorization, as well as a copy of their ID and a copy of the ID of the parent who signed.


1.g. Particular case : during special private events, specific rules, in addition to this regulation, can be applied. Thanks for acknowledging it in the dedicated media related to those events.

Section 2 - Infrastructure, facility of the leisure park.

2.a. Equipment and facilities belonging to the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat must be used in a consistent manner with their purpose. Reservation holders’ staying visitors, and people, resident or non-resident staying with them, as well as staying visitors will be held responsible for any degradation, loss or destruction from their end of the premises and equipment belonging to the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat. In case of damage due to a lack of attention from staying visitors, compensation fees could be charged.


2.b. To please security requirements (in going works or bad weather), the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat reserves the right to change opening time of the equipments, facilities or leisure activities, and/or temporarily forbidding access, partially or totally, especially in times of climatic events such as storms or strong winds.
2.c. Entertainment and activities are proposed within the Estate, with specific rules of use and operation, to which the visitor would have to comply, including : Parcabout®, mini-golf, marked out paths, giant tabletop games, pony stroll, carriage stroll, e-bike stroll, mountain bike, electric mountain bike and cargo bike rental, morning stretch-out, guided tour, thematic activities…


2.d. It is incumbent for every visitors to have checked their health condition prior to their coming to the Treuscoat Estate and to have acknowledged warnings, access conditions and safety rules by consulting appropriate pamphlets and websites, as well as the informations available at the entrance and within the Estate via signage, or via the Estate staff. Health and security based restrictions are not discriminatory measures.

 

2.e. Parcabout®’s access is forbidden for : pregnant women, people with cardiac or respiratory problems, intoxicated people, childrens under the age of 4 and unaccompanied childrens under the age of 8. Underages from 2 to 3 only have access to the “Minibout” part. Within the Parcabout®, inside the nets as well as under them, it is strictly forbidden to : smoke on the course, wear a helmet that can hurt other practitioners, be barefoot, wear open shoes or to be in heels, access the nets with sharp or hurtful objects. It is strongly advised : not to wear jewelry or earrings susceptible to hang on to the nets, to wear sportswear (long sleeves) and to avoid clothes that leave the skin of both arms and legs naked.

Section 3 – The ecolodges

3.a. Access to the accommodation is possible after information and keys are provided by a staff member of the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat. Keys and explanations are given to the clients between 5PM and 7PM. In the case of a late arrival , staying visitors need to inform the Treuscoat Estate. Keys have to be returned the day of the departure between 9AM and 10:30AM. Any late arrival or late departure from staying visitors is likely to incur extra charges. In case of departure prior to the opening of the reception desk, the staying visitor has to inform the Treuscoat Estate prior to the actual departure. The Treuscoat Estate reserves the right to change the time of key picking and of key return time, provided that the staying visitor is informed. Housekeeping is done by the maintenance crew starting at 10:30AM in the accommodation, and that, even if the accommodation has not been freed by staying visitors.

 

3.b. In case of damage due to the staying visitors’ recklessness, or if the state of cleanliness in the accommodation is deemed unacceptable, compensation fees could be charged. During the stay, the staff of the Treuscoat Estate keeps the right to enter the accommodation to check the general state of it, to do technical maintenance or to enforce safety measures.


3.c. Living rules : in order to observe calm and comfort for everyone, the staying visitors are asked not to cause noise or agitation and to look after the tranquility and respect of everyone, according to the section R623-2 of the French Penal Code (noise levels, nocturnal noise, improper behavior…). Staying visitors are committing to respect complete calm from 10PM to 8AM. Any misbehavior or violation of the rules written in this regulation can lead to a contract termination, and to an expulsion from the estate.


3.d. Staying visitors must have a charged phone. In case of emergency, every staying visitor needs to be able to contact an appropriate emergency number.
3.e. Staying visitors are invited to minimize the ecological footprint of the estate by using water, lights and heating with parsimony. The use of electrical outlets in the accommodation by staying visitors is limited to equipment that doesn’t exceed 1400W, or 6 amps at 230VAC. The use of the following electrical appliances is strictly prohibited (griddle, raclette machine, hair dryer and other appliances)


3.f. The use of the Nordic bath is not recommended to children under 12 years old, to pregnant women, to diabetic people or suffering from cardiovascular problems or high blood pressure. Any person in bad physical condition or under prescription needs to consult their doctor before using the Nordic bath. It is strongly advised not to take a Nordic bath alone. Full responsibility is left to the visitor while using the Nordic bath. The Treuscoat Estate declines any responsibility in case of physical or material damage, loss, theft, or degradation. For younger kids, a 20 minute time period should not be exceeded, otherwise it could induce dehydration or heatstroke.
Nordic baths need to keep being a place of relaxation ; The Treuscoat Estate staff keeps the right to forbid access if the use of the bath is abusive and/or improper. Access to the sauna is forbidden under 16 years old. It is strictly forbidden to let a child under no supervision of a responsible adult inside one of those spaces.
Chewing-gums, electronic cigarettes, cigarettes, food, drinks, radio, phone and other electrical appliances are prohibited in the Nordic bath and sauna.
For hygienic reasons, swimwears are mandatory and a shower prior to the use of the equipment, in order to remove any oil, suncream or moisturizing cream too.
Our staff regularly check the water quality. If a water change is required, please note that a 12 hour delay before another use is necessary.
It is absolutely forbidden to start a fire. For any assessed damage done on a Nordic bath or on the sauna, the reparation fees will be charged to the visitor, based on a full repair of the space by qualified professionals selected by the Treuscoat Estate, or by an identical replacement of the damaged elements, as well as the sales figures loss which represents degradation or improper water, from the day damage is observed to the day of full repair allowing rental again.


3.g. It is strictly forbidden to stay outside of planned spaces : camping tents and camping cars are not allowed in the Treuscoat Estate, parking included.
The Treuscoat Estate being a residential leisure park, it is arranged and planned according to the decree D333-3 featured in the French code of urbanism. You will also find light leisure accommodation or mobile-home.


3.h. Jars, table sets, corkscrews, baskets and other utensils at your disposal in our breakfast baskets, aperitif baskets and menus need to be put back in the basket. Thanks for leaving every item at your disposal during your stay : bedding, blankets, throw blankets… in the accommodation.


3.i. An inventory of fixtures is systematically done by our staff in order to protect oneself from any theft or degradation inside the accommodation. We ask our customers to return the accommodation in an acceptable state of cleanliness.
If the accommodation is deemed too dirty, a 150€ cleaning fee coverage can be asked. In the case of proven degradation, repair costs will be charged to the visitor that booked.


3.j. When the staying visitors are not in their accommodation, it needs to be closed in order to protect personal effect. The companys’ management disclaims all liability on theft or personal effect loss inside accommodations. Childrens are placed under their parents' responsibility. They need to be watched carefully and constantly, in order to make them respect the rules of procedure.

Section 4 - Rules of propriety and general safety

4.a. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the accommodation and in every interior public space. It is forbidden to smoke under the Parcabout®.

 

4.b. Fire hazard : Usage of BBQ or other lookalike equipment is forbidden inside the Treuscoat Estate for both daily and staying visitors. It is strictly forbidden to light fires of any kind within the Estate, including in the accommodation and inside nordic bath. Accommodations are equipped with smoke detectors and powder extinguishers. Accommodations are non-smokers.

 

4.c. Picnics are allowed for staying visitors on the picnic table in the Estate. Bar’s terrace is reserved for consuming customers. Picnics aren’t allowed for daily visitors. Catering offer is available at the Bar / cafe / gift-shop of the Estate.

 

4.d. Staying and daily visitors are required to respect massifs and green space, not to tear out, cut or break plants, flowers and trees. Chestnut gathering is allowed only up to 1kg per person, on hours of operation of the leisure park only.

 

4.e. The river and the ponds are part of the protected natural site and it is right to respect them. Parents are required to watch out for their kids on the whole Estate.

 

4.f. Both daily and staying visitors are required to respect the general cleanliness of the site.

Section 5 - Animals

5.a. Due to on site equestrian activities, pets are not allowed on the whole Estate.

 

5.b. For the respect and tranquility of the estates’ animals, it is strictly forbidden to run and shout ; touch the fence ; excite the animals ; throw items at them ; harm their safety or wellness. It is strictly forbidden to feed the animals without a Treuscoat Estate staff member approval.

Section 6 - Child supervision

6.a. Up until they are adults, childrens must stay under their parents or legal caretaker responsibility, which are responsible for the damage they could cause. Childrens under the age of 7 must be systematically accompanied throughout the Estate and in the Parcabout® 's nets.

 

6.b. The bar / cafe / gift-shop of the Treuscoat Estate is license IV. It is submitted to the French public health code regulation, stating that it is forbidden to sell alcohol to underage The person who delivers the beverage expects from the client a proof of age, stating they are adults, by providing ID. It is forbidden to offer free alcohol to an underage in any drinking establishment or public space. It is forbidden to receive in a drinking establishment childrens under 16 unaccompanied by a parent or a responsible adult.

Section 7 - Lost and found items

7.a. Visitors are welcomed to check if any personal effect has been forgotten on the Estate. Any forgotten item must be claimed by its owner within 3 months following their departure by addressing to the reception of the Treuscoat Estate. Past that time limit, the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat won’t be under no obligation concerning lost property. Claimed lost property will be shipped to their owner, providing a full refund of the shipping fees by the owner. The Treuscoat Estate cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage after having transmitted the item to the delivery service.

 

7.b. The SARL Domaine du Treuscoat reserves the right to deal with lost property in the most appropriate way and optionally, in collaboration with the authorities.

Section 8 - Claim

Every claim relative to the conditions of the stay must be expressed on the spot with the reception staff in order to allow them to find an immediate solution. Otherwise, the stay or the day will be considered as having unraveled in satisfying conditions. The SARL Domaine du Treuscoat responsibility cannot be engaged in any way in case of violation of this regulation or of any obligation brought to the knowledge of all visitors.

Section 9 - Cars and traffic

9.a. Speed limit is of 10 kilometers per hour maximum on the way to the parking and on the Treuscoat Estate parking. Both staying and daily visitors' vehicles are not allowed within the Estate enclosure. They must be parked on the intended parking lot at the entrance of the Treuscoat Estate. Only people with reduced mobility, on prior request, can benefit from an exemption to access their accommodations with their vehicles.

 

9.b. In case of inconvenient parking, Treuscoat Estate’ staff reserves the right to have the vehicle moved at the expense of the visitor.

 

9.c. The SARL Domaine du Treuscoat is not liable for damage caused or sustained by visitors' vehicles parked and circulating on the parking or in the Treuscoat Estate enclosure, even if they have been, exceptionally, allowed to enter within the Estate enclosure.

Section 10 - Unauthorized commercial activity prohibition

10.a. Generally, any goods or services selling within the Estate, as well as pamphlets, flyers and other prints distributed by visitors is forbidden. Resale of Estate access rights, stays, gift vouchers, or gift cards in any form is forbidden.

 

10.b. Any image, video, sound or photography that should be taken by a visitor within the Treuscoat Estate vicinity can only be used for personal use, except for express authorization, prior and written by a manager of the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat.

 

10.c. Any use of the “Domaine du Treuscoat” brand or visual identity (logo, pictures, flyers…) cannot be done without prior authorization from a manager of the SARL Domaine du Treuscoat.

This regulation can be seen at the entrance of the estate, at the reception, and is searchable on our website www.domaine-treuscoat.com and is available to costumers on demand at the reception.

Located in Brittany, near Morlaix (Finistere), the Treuscoat Estate brings together some Eco lodges (tree house cabins, tree house lodges, yurt, Nid’Île tree domes), outdoor activities and a well-being space.
